A Fun Alternative Wedding at The White Hart Inn, Derbyshire


Oh wow—where do we even start with this one? As Derbyshire wedding photographers, we’ve seen plenty of gorgeous weddings, but this one? It was effortlessly cool, unapologetically unique, and full of personality.


Let’s talk aesthetic—a stunning white wedding dress, sharp black suits, and dark, gothic-inspired décor that gave the whole day an incredible moody, romantic vibe. The venue was transformed with deep red, pink and black florals, candlelit tables, and the most epic neon sign backdrop. Who needs a traditional pastel palette when you can go full gothic elegance?


The ceremony was beautifully intimate, and not a dry eye in sight (including ours—seriously, we should start carrying tissues in our camera bags). As the confetti settled, guests soaked up the sunshine with drinks in the courtyard. But as dusk rolled in, things got even more exciting—cue the axe throwing!
