Autumn Mini Sessions


My mini sessions offer a smaller, more affordable version of a family photoshoot. These half-hour sessions are scheduled on specific dates throughout the year at carefully chosen locations in Derbyshire. Perfect for immediate family groups of up to five people, these sessions are great if you want some updated photos of your family.

The info//

Autumn is my favourite time to photograph as Derbyshire is a glow with colour. The rich gold, red and browns make a stunning backdrop for your family photos.

And with Christmas just around the corner these photos make the perfect present for grandparents and family members.

FAQ

What should we wear?

Clothing choice is so important when shooting in autumn. To compliment the autumnal colour palette I recommend opting for navy, mustard, burgundy and brown. Neutral tones such as cream (avoid white) and grey always work well. Layers are also great for this time of year as they add variety to your images by removing or adding layers midway through your session. Ditch those mis-matched coloured jackets and choose warm chunky knits, denim shirts and bobble hats instead.

What if we're running late?

Even with the best will in the world, things don’t always go to plan. If you know you will be late give me a call as soon as you can and I’ll do my best to fit you in. I do ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your allotted time to allow for any last minute hiccups, as these sessions run back to back.

What if it rains?

We live in the UK…where unfortunately it rains a lot. I’m not put off by a bit of drizzle. But if the weather is really a no-go, then we’ll reschedule.

When will we receive our images?

You'll receive your digital proofs within 2 weeks.

Your photoshoot package will come with 5 high res digital images which you will choose from an online gallery, but you can always add more! You will have the option of ordering additional digital images, luxury prints and wall art straight from your gallery.
